How to Move Notes Across Folders

Follow these steps to easily organize your notes into the right folders:

Using Long Press

  1. Long Press a Note:
    • Press and hold a note to bring up the context menu.
  2. Select the Move Option:
    • Apple: Tap the Move option in the context menu.
    • Android: Tap the Move icon in the toolbar.
    • Windows: Tap the Move icon in the toolbar.
  3. Select Destination Folder
  4. Confirm Move:
    • Tap the Move button. The note will be moved to the end of the selected folder (if using manual ordering).

Using Multi-Selection Mode

  1. Enter the Folder with the Notes You Want to Move:
    • Tap the three dots at the top right to open the "More" menu.
  2. Select Notes:
    • Tap the notes you wish to move. The Move action in the toolbar will become enabled once at least one note is selected.
  3. Move Notes:
    • Apple: Tap the Move button in the bottom toolbar.
    • Android: Tap the Move icon in the toolbar.
    • Windows: Tap the Move icon in the toolbar.
  4. Select Destination Folder:
    • Choose the folder from the Select Folder menu.
  5. Confirm Move:
    • Tap the Move button. The selected notes will be moved to the end of the chosen folder (if using manual ordering). 

Additional Information:

  • Note Placement: Notes will be placed at the end of the destination folder (if using manual ordering).
  • Current Folder: You will remain in the current folder after completing the move operation.
