Export a whole notebook or individual notebook pages

You can export an entire notebook as a Nebo (.nebo) file. This format allows you to view and/or edit the notebook later using Nebo. Other export options, such as PDF, SVG, and PNG, are also available for exporting individual pages or sharing with other apps. You can choose to export the notebook as a single file or export its contents as separate pages.

Export a Whole Notebook

iOS

1. From the DMS view, select your notebook.
2. Long press on the notebook to reveal the action menu.
3. Tap Export. A menu will appear.
4. Select the format in which you wish to export the notebook.
5. If desired, choose to export the background color and/or pattern.
6. Toggle Combine into one file on to export the pages as a single file. You can customize the name of the exported file. Alternatively, toggle Combine into one file off to export each page individually.
7. Tap Export.
8. Choose the application with which you want to export the file (e.g., your device's files, Dropbox, or any other content-sharing application available on your device).
9. Follow the application's instructions to complete the export.

Your notebook is now successfully exported.

Android

1. From the DMS view, select your notebook.
2. Long press on the notebook to reveal the action bar at the top of the screen.
3. In the action bar, tap the Export icon. A menu will appear.
4. Select the format in which you wish to export the notebook.
5. If desired, choose to export the background color and/or pattern.
6. Toggle Combine into one file on to export the pages as a single file. You can customize the name of the exported file. Alternatively, toggle Combine into one file off to export each page individually.
7. Tap Export.
8. Choose the application with which you want to export the file (e.g., your device's files, Dropbox, or any other content-sharing application available on your device).
9. Follow the application's instructions to complete the export.

Your notebook is now successfully exported.

Windows

1. From the DMS view, long press the notebook you want to export, then release your finger.
2. Tap Export. A menu will appear.
3. Select the format in which you wish to export the notebook.
4. If desired, choose to export the background color and/or pattern.
5. Toggle Combine into one file on to export the pages as a single file. You can customize the name of the exported file. Alternatively, toggle Combine into one file off to export each page individually.
6. Choose the application with which you want to export the file (e.g., your device's files, Dropbox, or any other content-sharing application available on your device).
7. Follow the application's instructions to complete the export.

Your notebook is now successfully exported.

Export Individual Pages from a Notebook

Available on iOS and Android devices.

To export individual pages from a notebook:

1. Navigate to the notebook you wish to export from and open it.
2. Tap the three-dot icon next to the page thumbnail in the sidebar.
3. From the pop-up menu, select Manage Pages. A menu will appear, allowing you to select one or more pages for export.
4. Tap the Export icon. You’ll be able to choose from the following export formats:
   • PNG
   • PDF
   • SVG
5. Customize Export Options:
   • Choose to export pages individually or combined into a single file.
   • If you’re combining multiple pages into one file, you can also customize the file name.
6. Tap Export.
7. Choose the app through which you’d like to export your pages (e.g., device’s file manager, Dropbox, or another content-sharing app).

Your selected pages are now successfully exported.
