Cropping an image in Nebo allows you to adjust or remove its outer edges. This helps refine the framing and eliminate unnecessary parts (trimming), ensuring the image fits your needs perfectly.
Important Notes:
- Currently, the feature is available on iOS, with support for other platforms to be added later.
- The Crop feature is available starting from Nebo version 6.6 and above.
- Crop images can be used with Notebooks, Boards, and PDF files.
Note: On Documents, images can only be cropped when added to a board section. Cropping is not available directly on a Document itself.
How to Crop Images:
Open or Create a Page
Open an existing Notebook page, Board page, or PDF file, or create a new one.Insert an Image
Add an image by selecting it from your Camera or Your Images gallery.Access the Top Menu
After inserting the image, a top menu will appear with the following options:
Crop, Cut, Copy, DeleteChoose the Crop Option
Select Crop from the menu. A new window will open, displaying the image to be cropped.
Use the Cropping Tools
The following options are available for customizing your crop:
Rotate
Rotate the image in 90° increments or adjust it manually using the degree palette.
- Reframe
Choose from preset aspect ratios like Original size, Square, 3:2, 5:3, 4:3, 5:4, 7:5, or 16:9.
- Trimming
To adjust your image, use pinch gestures to zoom in or out manually. For a precise frame, move the cropping handles to define the exact area you want to keep. Carefully position the image to highlight your desired section. Any parts of the image outside the selected frame will be automatically removed.
Cancel the Crop
To discard the changes, select Cancel and return to the previous screen without making edits.Confirm Your Changes
Once you're satisfied with the adjustments, select OK to save your cropped image.
Note: When you confirm the trimmed, the removed parts of the image are permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
By following these steps, you can effortlessly modify and enhance your images to achieve better composition and focus. Don't forget, even after inserting an image into a note, you still have the flexibility to crop it. Simply tap on the image to access the menu with options like Crop, Cut, Copy, or Delete. Select "Crop" to fine-tune your image as needed and ensure it fits your vision perfectly.
