For technical reasons, Nebo works best with compatible active pens – but the app also supports the use of passive pens (also known as capacitive pens). When you use an active pen, Nebo is also able to distinguish between pen strokes and touch interactions. When using a passive pen, this distinction isn’t possible.
When we refer to ‘pens’ in our knowledge base and elsewhere, we mean both active and passive pens (unless otherwise specified).
