How to highlight text in PDFs

In Nebo, you can mark up content and highlight text from your PDFs, either using your pen or through text selection. 

Highlight PDF text using your pen

1. Select the highlighter tool (marker) in the toolbar. You can tap it twice to modify its settings like highlight type and thickness.
2. Select your highlight color in the toolbar. You can select the non-color to remove existing highlights.
3. Draw over PDF text to apply highlight.

You can overwrite existing highlights to apply a new color. If colors are the same, highlights are simply removed.

Highlight PDF text using text selection

1. Long press anywhere on text from your PDF to trigger text selection.
2. Move the handles to adjust the range of your text selection.
3. In the edit menu, choose Highlight.

The highlight is applied using the current color for the highlighter tool in the toolbar. Change it first to ensure the right color is used for the next highlights.
